When I suggest to judge her to as a FRIEND, I know many people's first reaction will be, "But huMAN, you trust her like a friend!", to which I say, "Good, that's the point".
The idea is to judge people that you hold dear (or want to) with clear and higher standards than you would a complete stranger. After all, if she's going to be the closest and most intimate companion in your life, one would hope you can trust her in that role.
