Lying wears you down

How often do you lie to yourself? Not to others, but to yourself. How often do you edit and adjust what you’re about to (naturally) express…? How often are you conditioned to ‘casually’ lie to yourself and those around you? How does this affect how others perceive you? How does it affect trust?

And do you know WHY we’re conditioned to think nothing of lying? Well, because a man feels ashamed and humiliated the more he lies. When he’s alone with himself, he knows. The more his default mode is dishonourable, the more he dislikes who he is... And the world just loves that.

Don’t lie, gentlemen.
